Getting started / First-time setup

Import your subscription and make your first connection

Create an account, get your subscription, and import the routes to your device. Skip any steps you've already completed. For your first setup, verify the connection on a device you use regularly before configuring your other devices.

Create an account and open the user dashboard

Open the account link below and enter a username and password as prompted. VPNBeach does not require an email address; you can create an account with a username and password. Choose a username you can easily recognize, use a password that you don't use on other sites, and save it in a trusted password manager. Complete the steps on the page and open the user dashboard. If you land on the login screen, sign in with the details you just saved.

Once you're in the dashboard, look for “Account overview,” “Plans,” and “Download clients.” Use the overview to check your subscription status, Plans to choose a service, and Download clients to get the right app for your device. Everything is in one dashboard, so there's no need to search this guide for an installation file. You can come back here to set up another device later.

If you see a prompt during account creation, check whether your username is available and that both password fields match, then try again. Don't submit repeatedly or create multiple accounts before you know whether the first attempt worked; that could split your payments and subscriptions across accounts. Make sure you're in the right account before choosing a plan.

The account link does not include extra free data or a free-use period. Check the dashboard for available services and fees.

Choose a plan and confirm its status

Open Plans in the dashboard and choose a monthly subscription or data plan based on how often you'll use the service. Monthly subscriptions suit regular use: ¥9.9/month includes 60GB, ¥18/month includes 250GB, and ¥28/month includes 500GB. Monthly data resets on your subscription date, not at the start of each calendar month. When estimating your needs, account for video streaming, file transfers, and system updates as well as everyday browsing and work.

If you'll use the service occasionally, compare the data plans: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Data remains available until used and never expires. Data plans and monthly subscriptions are billed differently, so check the option you've selected rather than comparing only the upfront price. If you already have a plan, review your current benefits and the dashboard information before making changes. When you upgrade a monthly subscription mid-term, the price difference is converted into remaining days.

Once you've chosen a plan, check the order name, amount, and payment method, then follow the prompts to pay. Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported. For USDT payments, carefully check the network, amount, and recipient details shown on the payment page; don't rely on details from a previous payment. After paying, return to the dashboard and check your order and plan status. Closing the payment page does not mean your plan is active.

If your status hasn't updated after payment, refresh the account page and check that you're signed into the same account used to place the order. Keep your order details, and don't pay again just to make the page update. VPNBeach offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. See the Terms of Service for the full refund terms. Once the dashboard shows your plan as active, continue to get your subscription.

Get your subscription from the account overview

Open Account overview in the user dashboard and find the subscription details or client import section. Your subscription provides the client with the route configurations available to your account; it isn't a regular webpage to read in a browser. Check whether the dashboard has an import option for your client. If it does, follow the dashboard instructions—it can help you avoid choosing the wrong format.

If you need to add it manually, use the dashboard's copy function to get the full subscription link. In your client, paste it into “Import from link,” “Add subscription,” or a similar field. Copy the whole link, not just the portion visible when the page cuts it off, and don't add any text before or after it. If the client asks for a name, choose a label that's easy for you to recognize. This is just a local label and won't change your plan.

Your subscription link contains account-related information, so keep it as secure as a password. Don't post it in public groups, online link checkers, or unfamiliar websites, and don't include the full link in a support screenshot. When reporting an issue, include the error message but hide any link and account details. If you think someone else may have obtained your link, check the dashboard for a reset option, then import the new link on your devices.

Don't have a client installed yet? That's fine. Leave the user dashboard open, follow the installation steps below, then return to import your subscription. This guide doesn't provide subscription links; get yours only from your own account dashboard.

Open Account overview

Install the client for your platform and import your subscription

Go to Download clients in the user dashboard and choose the platform for your device. VPNBeach supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux, with unlimited simultaneous devices. The steps below cover first-time imports on common desktop and mobile devices. You can get clients for platforms other than iOS after signing in; you don't need to have purchased a plan first. To get a valid subscription and connect, follow the instructions for your account status. For iOS, follow the availability instructions in the dashboard.

For each platform, use the VPNBeach client and import method provided in the dashboard whenever possible. Don't download an installation file from an unfamiliar source based only on its filename in search results, and don't repeatedly import a subscription using the wrong format. If you've already installed other proxy tools, quit any you're not using during setup to prevent multiple apps from managing your device's network settings at once.

Windows: Find the settings in your desktop client

Select the Windows client in the dashboard and install it by following the instructions for your device and operating system. Then open the app. Return to the dashboard and try the matching import option. If your browser asks whether to open the client, check that the app name matches the one you just installed before proceeding. If the import doesn't happen automatically, find “Configuration” or “Subscription management” in the client, choose the option to add from a link, paste the full subscription link, and save it.

Wait for the configuration to load. When the route list appears, set this configuration as the one in use. Saving a link alone doesn't enable it. On your first connection, check whether the client asks you to enable the system proxy or a related network component, and follow the app's instructions to complete any required setup. Leave unfamiliar rules and ports unchanged for now. Keep the default settings and continue with the connection check below.

macOS: Allow the app to open and load your subscription

Choose the client for your Mac in the downloads section, then install and open it as instructed in the dashboard. If macOS shows a security prompt, check the file source and app name, then follow the system's steps. Don't disable system security protections just to open the app. Once it's open, launch it using the dashboard's import option, or import the link from the app's configuration manager.

Once the subscription is saved and selected, check the connection status in the menu bar or the app's main window. Some network features need system permission; approve the request when it matches the system prompt and app instructions. The client may still be running in the menu bar even if its main window is closed. Check the app's status and try accessing a website to confirm the connection, rather than relying on whether the window is open.

Android: Add your subscription and grant VPN permission

Sign in to the user dashboard, open the Android client section, and follow the instructions to get and install the app. If Android asks for permission to install apps from a source, check that you're installing the file provided in the dashboard, then continue. In the app, go to “Configuration,” “Subscription,” or a similar page, choose import from link, paste your account subscription, and save it. If the dashboard can open the app directly, you can follow its instructions to add the subscription instead.

When the route list appears, enable the current configuration, choose a route, and start the connection. If Android asks to set up a VPN connection, check the app name and grant permission. After connecting, open a website to verify the connection, then try your usual apps. If the connection drops when the app moves to the background, check your device's battery and background activity settings and allow the app to keep running. The exact settings vary by operating system version and device manufacturer.

iOS: Check availability before adding a configuration

Choose the iOS option in the user dashboard and read the availability requirements and instructions shown there. The iOS client option may vary depending on your account plan, so follow the current dashboard information rather than assuming the process is the same as on other platforms. Once you have the app link provided by the dashboard, install the app as instructed, then return to the dashboard and use the matching import option.

To add it manually, choose import from link in the client's subscription or configuration manager, paste the full link, and save it. When you start the connection, iOS may ask to allow a VPN configuration to be added. Check the app and follow the prompt to approve it. Then return to the client, select an available route, and connect. The VPN status in iOS only shows that the configuration is running; check that the service you want works by trying to access it.

Get the client

Choose a route and verify that your connection works

After importing, select the current configuration in the client and open the route selection page. For your first connection, choose a region that suits the service you want to use, and keep the same route while testing if possible. A route's region, its type, and the target service's regional requirements are separate considerations. If you're not sure how to choose, start with a simple guide to choosing a VPN route for your needs—you don't need to know every networking term first.

Select Connect or Start in the client, wait until it shows that you're connected, and make sure you've granted any network permissions requested by your system. On desktop, check whether the app asks you to enable the system proxy. On mobile, confirm that VPN permission is allowed. Start testing with the default rules provided in the dashboard. If one app won't connect, don't change all your rules at once; first check whether your browser and other apps behave the same way.

Next, open the website or app you want to use and try something specific, such as loading a page, sending a request, or playing content. A connected status in the client alone doesn't confirm that the service you need is available. When testing AI tools, also check for any account, region, or permission messages shown by the service. A working network connection doesn't mean you've met a third-party platform's account requirements or usage rules.

If the target page won't load, first check whether regular websites are affected too. Then confirm that the subscription is enabled, your account plan is active, and the client hasn't reported a configuration update failure. Try another route and test again on the same network and in the same app. Change one thing at a time to tell whether the issue is with the route, client settings, or the service itself. Repeatedly clicking Connect for a long time usually won't help identify the cause.

Once you've verified the connection, repeat the steps—get a client, import your subscription, and verify the connection—on your other devices. There is no limit on the number of devices that can be connected at the same time, but keep an eye on your plan's data usage across devices. If the route list changes, use the client's subscription update function to refresh it. You don't need to create another account, and route names in old screenshots aren't a permanent list.

If the service still isn't working, see the troubleshooting guide and follow the checks for your specific issue, such as failing to connect, being connected but unable to open webpages, slow speeds, or background disconnections. When submitting a support ticket, include your operating system and client name, network environment when the problem occurred, selected region, error message, and steps you've already tried. Hide your password and full subscription link in screenshots, then submit them through the user dashboard ticket form so the issue can be investigated.
